The mechanism, stated plainly.
A monitor can watch named review listing URLs. Each sweep fetches the public page, keeps new review-like items, and files them if they match the listing (not a keyword hunt across the internet).
Coverage
What is collected — and what is not.
- Public listing URLs you add (G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, and similar HTML listings)
- Reviewer name, rating when present, and the review text
- A stable link back to the listing
- Login walls, CAPTCHAs and blocked scrapers mean a listing can go silent. We will not pretend otherwise.
- App Store and Play Store pages are included only when the public HTML is readable the same way.
- This does not replace a review-management suite (replies, widgets, soliciting reviews).
