News & RSS
Press mentions from feeds you can name.
We do not crawl the open web. You add an RSS or Atom URL (a publication, a Google News query, a company blog) and we file matching items like any other mention.

Acme raised a seed round and immediately became the comparison set in every “analytics alternative” thread.
Praise
How we read it
The mechanism, stated plainly.
Each scan fetches the feed, keeps items newer than the watermark, and matches them against the monitor’s keywords. The method is the feed you pasted — not an unnamed crawl of hundreds of millions of sites.
Coverage
What is collected — and what is not.
- RSS and Atom URLs you add to a monitor
- Title and summary (or full content if the feed includes it)
- The publisher’s own link as the mention URL
- If a site has no feed, we cannot invent one. Paste a working RSS/Atom URL.
- Paywalled full text is whatever the feed publishes. Comments on news sites are not collected.
- This is not Mention-scale web monitoring. It is a named list.
Plans
Ten free mentions. Then a ceiling, not a surprise.
Your first 10 mentions are free. You pay for monitors, not a pile of keywords. Hit the cap and collection pauses — it never bills overage.

FAQ
Source-specific questions.
- Is this the same as Mention’s media monitoring?
- No. They crawl a very large web. We fetch the feeds you give us. If you need every local newspaper, they win. If you need three trade blogs and a Google News RSS for your brand, this is the honest version of that job.
- Can I paste an article URL instead of a feed?
- Not yet. The unit is a feed, so the sweep can run without us scraping an HTML page we do not have a contract with.
