Anyone else getting silent failures from the Acme webhook? HerculeRadar filed it as a bug before our status page moved.

Switched from a keyword alert to HerculeRadar. Same post, but now it lands as a complaint with an urgency score instead of another email I ignore.

  • Jonas Klein·today at 7:02 AM

    @jonas_k

Reminder that Acme trains on customer data — someone said this on X and HerculeRadar tagged it misinformation. We corrected it in an hour.

Would switch tomorrow if it had Paddle. Saw this under a review — HerculeRadar filed it as a product idea, not noise.

Been waiting six days on a refund. Starting to look at alternatives. HerculeRadar put it on the support desk before the ticket existed.

Setup took ten minutes and I have not thought about billing since. Posted that about Acme — HerculeRadar filed it as a testimonial.

The 2am quote-tweet is not a ticket. HerculeRadar is the first tool that treated it like one.

Nine client brands, one login, exports that do not need an intern. That is the HerculeRadar pitch and so far it holds.

The method

Name the words. We run the round. You keep the judgement.

This is search, not a crawl of your own accounts, and not a live doomscroll. A four-hour round is enough to reply while the thread is still warm.

  1. 01

Tell us the spellings people actually use.

The product, the domain, the handle, the competitor, the phrase they type when they do not tag you. Extra spellings inside a monitor are free.

  2. 02

We search five networks, on a round.

X, Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn and Threads. Every four hours. Duplicates collapse. Nobody is auto-replied to.

  3. 03

Each hit is filed before it reaches you.

Bug report, complaint, false claim, product idea or testimonial — plus urgency. The feed is a desk, not a firehose.

Why this is not an alert

The difference is the filing, not the collecting.

A search alert hands you every match. We keep the match, then ask what kind of case it is — so support, product and you are not reading the same pile.

What a keyword dump looks like

  • is acme down for anyone else or just me
  • looking for an acme alternative that is cheaper
  • acme setup took ten minutes, rare
  • does acme sell customer data? saw a comment
  • wish acme had paddle honestly
  • acme refund still pending day six

Cadence

A round every four hours. Not a live feed pretending to be one.

We will not sell you “every few minutes”. The first search runs as soon as you name the product. After that, a four-hour round is the honest interval — and it is the one we actually run.

For the software that already reads your mail

Hand the reading to an agent.Keep the reply.

MCP and the API are on every plan, including the trial. A webhook can fire when a mention is filed. Nothing replies in your name.

Why founders use it

The internet is already telling you what needs attention.

Support wants the complaint. Product wants the repeated ask. Sales wants the “alternative to” thread. Same five networks — a different question on the desk.

Plans

Ten free mentions. Then a ceiling, not a surprise.

FAQ

Know before you track.

Built for founders who want signal without living inside search tabs, dashboards and social feeds all day.

01What does HerculeRadar monitor?

Public posts that match the keywords and aliases you set — across X, Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn and Threads. Each hit is filed into a category and scored for urgency before it reaches your desk.

02Do people need to tag my account?

No. We search the words they type. A post that names the product without linking you is found the same way as one that does.

03What categories do you file into?

Five fixed ones, plus other: bug report, complaint, misinformation, product idea and testimonial. You cannot invent new labels yet — the classifier keeps one shared vocabulary so support and product read the same desk.

04What counts as a mention?

A public post, comment or title that matches a keyword on a monitor. Private messages, closed groups and Facebook are out of scope — we only collect what a public keyword search can honestly reach.

05How often do you search?

Active monitors are swept every four hours. The first search starts as soon as you name the product — it does not wait for the next round. This is not a live feed, and we will not pretend it is.

06How do alerts work?

You set a minimum urgency (and optionally categories). When a filed mention clears that bar, we email you or fire a webhook. Digests can also summarise the desk on a daily or weekly rhythm.

07Can you alert my AI agent when a new mention is found?

Yes. Point a webhook at your agent, or let it poll over MCP / the REST API. The payload is the filed mention — category, urgency, source link. Nothing replies in your name.

08Do you have an API and MCP server?

Yes. Both are on every plan, including the trial. MCP is how Claude, ChatGPT and similar clients read the desk; REST is for your own code.

09Do I need to be a developer to connect an agent?

No for the common clients — the docs walk through ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor with copy-paste steps. Building a custom integration does take a developer.

10Do you reply automatically?

No. We find, file and score. The reply stays yours — or your agent’s, if you wire one up. We will not post as you.

11Can I track competitors?

Yes. Add their product name, handle or domain as keywords on a monitor. Their users’ public complaints and feature asks land on the same desk as yours.

12How is this different from a search alert?

An alert dumps every match. We keep the match, decide what kind of case it is, and score urgency — so you read a desk, not a firehose.

13What happens when I hit my limit?

Collection pauses and we tell you. There is no overage bill. A hard ceiling protects your invoice, and it protects our margins too.

14Can I try it without a credit card?

Yes. Ten free mentions, no card. The first search starts immediately after you name the product.

Name the product. Read the first ten.

Ten real mentions, no card, and the first search starts immediately — not at the next round.
