Brandwatch alternative for teams that need a desk, not a research platform.
Brandwatch is a sales-led consumer-intelligence suite with a multi-year archive, custom classifiers and a separate social-management product. We watch five social networks, file what we find, and hand it to a person or an agent the same afternoon you sign up.
What Brandwatch does better
The archive and the research tooling. If you need to pull conversations from 2015, train a custom classifier, or brief a board with an analyst, they are in a different category from us — and they should win that RFP.
Choose Brandwatch if
you are buying enterprise consumer research, you need years of history, Iris-style custom classifiers, or a named account team. Or you already live in their social suite for publishing.
Choose HerculeRadar if
you want self-serve social triage from $29, mentions scored for urgency and intent, and an API plus MCP on the plan you actually buy — not a research platform quoted annually.

Questions
Is this a serious Brandwatch alternative?
Only for a narrow job: watching live social conversation and acting on it. Brandwatch’s product is a research archive plus optional publishing and influencer suites. Comparing us on “sources crawled” or “posts since 2008” is how you buy the wrong tool.
Do you train custom classifiers like Iris?
No. Categories, sentiment, urgency, intent, speaker and next action are the six axes we file on. You can relabel the five categories per project. You cannot train a new taxonomy on a trillion-post corpus, because we do not have one.
